Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church exists to proclaim Jesus Christ and His life, death and resurrection for the sake and salvation of the world. We are a confessional Lutheran Church meaning we subscribe to the Lutheran Confessions contained in the Book of Concord of 1580 as correct expositions of Holy Scripture, the written Word of God. Our congregation is liturgical meaning we use the various orders of service as found in the Lutheran Service Book. We practice closed communion; meaning we commune with those Christians whose public confession and doctrine is the same in all articles of faith.
Our congregation is named to remind us that Jesus is indeed the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep and calls them by name through His Word to life everlasting.
We invite you to attend our worship services and through God’s means of grace therein receive faith, forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Shepherd of the Hills is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
